The Recording Studio at Six Senses Ibiza, located within our uplifting Beach Caves waterfront venue, is a state-of-the-art space kitted out with impressive McIntosh and Sonus faber equipment for producing, mixing, and recording music. With the full support of a professional studio manager and sound mixing editor, this exclusive space is designed for world-class creative production.
As with all Six Senses resorts, we foster close links with the local community, and the Recording Studio is popular with local artists, musicians and legendary international stars. Kamil Parchomienko, Director Of Culture and Entertainment, fills us in, “At Six Senses, everyone is embraced with open arms, anything goes, and this creates a unifying effect. From Kamil’s (not so) little black book of contacts, the Recording Studio has hosted 70s rockers Duran Duran, London-based singer-songwriter FKA Twigs, house DJ Benji B, and Rüfüs Du Sol, an Australian alt-dance group, to name just a few.
FKA Twigs loved the vibe so much that she stayed for two months, recorded part of her new album, and has plans for more exciting Six Senses collaborations – watch this space! Rüfüs Du Sol recorded their latest album here and threw a friends-of-Six-Senses party in the Xarraca Room as a thank you. Compared to their usual 2,000-plus crowds, this was an intimate gig for a guest list of just 200. A highlight for Kamil was DJ Benji B remixing Beyonce’s entire singles back catalog, “Hearing Queen B blasting out of the Recording Studio was an unforgettable experience.”
