The history
Kanuhura Maldives has been added to the Six Senses portfolio and will adopt the brand in December 2022.
This transition is a truly exciting moment in the long history of Kanuhura as we’ll be adding new wellness, sustainability, and conservation initiatives into our daily operations, along with locally inspired experiences and activities. Kokaa Spa will become a Six Senses Spa, taking on the brand’s high-touch high-tech approach to wellness, while our restaurants will adopt the Eat With Six Senses philosophy of natural ingredients, local and sustainable, and less is more. This will be the beginning of a new chapter in the resort’s story that we are so excited to unveil later this year.
Pristine marine life
The Lhaviyani Atoll offers more than 40 dive sites for exploring marine life. In the coming months, new watersport activities and high-performance equipment will be added through our partnership with Ocean Wings. From exploring the shores of Jehunuhura Island to getting hands-on with coral and seagrass protection, there will be a host of experiences to inspire people about the importance of ocean conservation.
