Harnessing the sun in Vietnam

Ninh Van Greens is named after the resort’s location and the dazzling idea of harnessing solar to power the resort while growing crops for the restaurants and spa.

The solar farm is built from 800 individual panels arranged in rows, tilted along a hill, and elevated above the ground. The placement allows the right amounts of light and shade to filter through to grow organic food crops below. As of August 2022, Ninh Van Greens generated more than 229.127 kWh of electricity and supplied 17 percent of the resort’s energy supply. As a result of the secondary agriculture use, a total of 31 crops have been grown, providing 1,278 pounds (580 kilograms) of vegetables to feed guests and hosts. Ninh Van Greens will also house 15 different varieties of fruit trees.

Destination Farm-to-Table Dining

Reserve a table and discover how Six Senses Ninh Van Bay delivers a plant-based fine dining experience right next to the solar farm. The Farmhouse destination dining space enjoys breathtaking scenery and can host 20 guests at a time. It brings natural ingredients, local and sustainable farming, and 'less-is-more' cooking practices to the table to show the whole journey of a plant from the seeding stage to when it is presented on a dish for diners.

“It is always deeply satisfying and rewarding when picking your own vegetables,” said General Manager Benjamin Kreuz. “We invite you to reconnect with nature and our planet with a walking tour of the eco-friendly farm led by the culinary team. You can learn about nutrients and the methods used to raise vegetables and fruits, then enjoy a mouth-watering meal that serves one-of-a-kind combinations of ingredients to provide unique textures and flavors within each dish.”

A Sensory Experience at the Alchemy Bar

Solar FreshCuts helps the Alchemy Bar shine brighter too. With gorgeous views to the bay, the Alchemy Bar uses organic ingredients picked from the solar garden to create homemade spa and beauty products. The healing properties of various herbs, fruits, and spices are explained by skilled therapists in interactive and eco-friendly workshops. Have a go at creating your own blend of body scrub and take it to our Six Senses Spa for our therapists to apply during a blissful traditional Vietnamese treatment.

Rock Pool Retreat or Jungle Hideaway?

Our private pool villas are spacious and comfortable, each with either a garden terrace or sundeck. Located on the beach, over the water, between the rocks, or perched on the mountainside, ocean views are ubiquitous. Each villa type offers seclusion (the only person who will find you is your dedicated Guest Experience Maker, on-call 24 hours a day).

Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is just a speedboat ride away

Arrive at Cam Ranh Airport (CXR), where you'll be met for a 60-minute drive to the resort’s lounge at Nha Trang, then a 20-minute boat ride across to Six Senses Ninh Van Bay.

Six Senses Declares a Climate Emergency

Environmental and social responsibility is at the heart of the Six Senses approach. That’s why we join individuals, travel, and other companies in declaring a climate emergency and highlighting the seriousness of human impacts brought about by climate change. Many of these are disproportionately felt by communities in the global south and by younger and future generations.
