Six Senses Bhutan

The Land of the Thunder Dragon

Bhutan is rich in culture, tradition, and spirituality that have been carefully guarded and preserved. Your Khamsa is a total escape from unrelenting modernization, but this isn’t a journey back in time. The nation has been built on progressive thinking, with a sustainable tourism vision and hospitality approach that attracts visitors who share its vision and values as it emerges as a viable example of how economic success can be achieved without compromising environmental, societal and individual well-being. Bhutan is accessible by plane via Bangkok, Delhi, Kathmandu, Kolkata and Singapore.

March to April and September to November offer pleasant weather for hiking and many all-day festivals take place in spring and autumn, where monks perform special masked dances that are inspirations of enlightened beings in history in the dzongs (fortresses) and monasteries. June to August offers lush landscapes with colorful flora. December to February brings sunny days and clear mountain views.
