Ben and Olena’s wedding
This happily ever after story began with an intimate wedding and reception for Olena and Ben at Six Senses Laamu – a faraway idyllic island where local culture and romance are intertwined. A private sandbank was chosen for the ceremony with the bride and groom arriving by traditional sailing Dhoni to the sound of cultural music performed by children from the local island, then gentle bodu beru drum beats accompanied them down the aisle. With the wedding ceremony completed, the couple made their first toast as a married couple and cut their cake with a fairytale sunset backdrop. As the drums beat louder the little island was filled with joy. Olena and Ben slipped away for a private dinner on the beach.
