Six Senses Ninh Van Bay
It depends on what you would like to see and experience. Passionate scuba diver or snorkeler? The visibility is best from February to September. Outdoor pursuits? From February to September, the weather is ideal for sailing and hiking. Cozy up in the spa in October and November, when the weather outside is less predictable. Even when it rains, usually limited to late afternoon from October through November, the sun doesn't stay hidden for long. There are of course specific times for particular interests, so we've listed a few of the main ones.
The weather is ideal for snorkeling to see the coral reefs at Ninh Van Bay or do water sports including kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding, water skiing, fun tube rides or swim like a dolphin using a sea scooter.
This is also the best period to see the critically endangered monkey species (black-shanked douc langurs) that roam the forest around the resort. You can also join our resident terrestrial biologist for a guided hike to learn about our forest life and how we are protecting these langurs.
Scuba diving (book with our Experiences department). Beginners can get certified as an Open Water Diver with our outsourced five-star PADI Dive company and professional divers can explore the colorful underwater world and seabed of Mun Island Marine Park near Nha Trang.
You can focus on wellness activities in the spa from rituals, yoga, meditation and making your own body scrub at the Alchemy Bar, when the weather outside is less predictable.
Christmas and New Year. We add a tropical twist to traditional fare for a festive vibe and activities the whole family will love. New Year’s Eve is a colorful evening with a fun-filled gala event and special countdown to midnight. The festivities continue around late January and early February when Vietnam celebrates Tet holiday to usher in the Lunar New Year. We start the New Year with a big bang from lion dance to plenty of fun games traditionally enjoyed during Tet.
