Let your kids Rome free on a Six Senses tour

Turn the streets of Rome into an incredible travel adventure with specially curated tours and experiences for children from around 4 or 5 up to 12 years old.

Here are just a few highlights of our Rome adventure tours for kids.

VatiKids

This tour brings the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s to life through an iPad game, while our guide explains the points of interest to the parents. All participants will receive a gift and papyrus attesting they have become Vatican experts!

Little Caesar Game

Turn your trip to timeless Rome into a delightful experience as your children discover stories and fun facts. They’ll learn about the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill through a playful app with interactive content.

Castle Hunt

Originally a mausoleum, then a fortress, a papal residence, and eventually a museum ... discover the secrets and stories of Castel Sant'Angelo with your children while on tour in timeless Rome.

Our Castle Hunt game is an engaging and amusing experience for your kids, and we have a hunch you’ll quite enjoy it too!

Rome’s Riddles Game

Explore some of the Eternal City’s main attractions including the Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain while becoming a bonafide Roman. Answer the trivia correctly and receive the city’s seal of approval – a digital certificate with your child’s photo.

The Little Gladiator

For little ones aged 7 years and over, discover what a gladiator’s life was like back in time by attending gladiator school! Passionate and knowledgeable teacher will teach your kids about the history and even try on the armor and weaponry worn in fights. We’re assured the swords are safe …

The Little Artist

Let your children express their colorful originality and help them create a fresco painting.

The word fresco comes from the Latin word “fresh” and means painting on fresh plaster. The oldest examples date back to 1600 BCE in Greece, and the most famous example is probably the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel by the great Michelangelo. This hands-on art class will teach kids the techniques used to realize their own masterpiece. It takes just a couple of hours and when the painting dries, your child will be happy to have created a painting that will be preserved in plaster for years to come.

The Little Mosaicist

What better location to learn about the mosaic technique than Rome, in the country with the most astounding cultural heritage in the world? Small classes ensure a relaxed, fun atmosphere for young learners to explore this timeless art process and develop their own creativity. Mosaics are making a comeback as artists from all over the world are rediscovering ancient techniques and stretching them to new and modern expressions. Children will gain hands-on experience and explore the wide variety of materials: colored ceramic tile, stained glass, glue and found objects. The greatest reward? Taking back home the self-made mosaic!

At Six Senses Rome, parents can also elevate their stay by enjoying a host of cultural experiences including private art tours.
